Club Strength is Club Growth!
Does your officer team have a clear set of who is in charge of the steps to make your club strong?
Who greets people when they arrive at your meeting either online or in person?
Who responds to leads for your club? For example: when Kathy Draper moved to Kansas, she reached out to 13 different clubs in her area and only one reached back out to her!
Do you have a membership information packet? How about a guest book for in-person and online? Who is next up to mentor a new member?
One of the reasons why the Club Success Plan is so important is to make sure that each officer knows the parameters of their role. A few of the officer roles can have overlapping responsibilities. Be sure that all roles and responsibilities are covered.
Club officers should work as a team. Club officers should not carry all the burden. Create a committee or ask for help, especially with task-heavy roles like VPPR and VPE.
When we communicate with each other, and with our club, when there are vacations or emergencies, we can help each other out. Toastmasters is about speaking, communication, and leadership. Let’s always put these roles in action with our members and our officers.
